Lik'e Lik'e Lovecaster

My first guitar project. I just built a hot-rod 69' Tele Thinline .

PURCHASE #1 - JULY 17, 2007. Thinline Body $429.00, from warmoth.com. I also purchased a Chrome Vintage Tele® Bridge.

The next purchase wasn't until November. I found a Fender 69' Tele Thin-line pickguard on ebay for $45. I didn't want a new one, because I was going to customize it anyway.

One of the first steps included shielding the pickup cavities with copper shielding tape.

I then bought a bunch of parts from guitarpartsresource.com:

Chrome "football" jack plate, Switchcraft USA 1/4" mono jack, Pickguard screws Aftermarket Fender (chrome), Vintage Cloth wire, Nickel 4 bolt replacement neckplate, and Fender chrome neck screws.

I love the pics, Brian. How close are you to being done? It looks awesome. I'm surprised at the amount of electronics are involved with building one, but now that I've thought about it for a minute... it would make sense :o/

Post a video of you playing on it!
